“You digger sucks!”

Yes, I am saying you digger sucks! not all, but you, if…

1. You digg on global warming news blindly
Did you really think that you can save the world by digging every global warming and polution news? NO! it never works like that. stop wasting energy around digg.com and turn off your computer instead!

2. You bad mouth on Microsoft and Bill Gates just because everyone’s doing so
You sucks, Bill Gates isn’t. know who contributes the most in charity on earth? Bill Gates. i bet you don’t even how to spell the UNICEF.

3. You can’t wait to digg the next rumours about Apple
What’s the matter with you? do you need to digg on every Apple related rumours so that your girl says you’re cool? what was Steve Job’s underwear color last Monday?

4. You submit your company website instead of interesting news
Yeah yeah, we can see that you are desperate in building up you business online…

5. You submit a story in Jawi language
I bet 99% of digg users couldn’t read jawi, perhaps your stories are worth mentioning - but hey, you’re just barking at the wrong tree.

6. You submit a history
Forgive me, i just hate the subject so much.

7. You just put on the 17th entry on how to file a re-mortgage
Buzz off spammers! i am not looking for a house loan, i am not looking for a re-mortgage, in fact most diggers aren’t! if you can’t find your target traffics, go buy some ads on Google instead. leave digg.com clean please.

8. You input stupid comment like ‘haha, i am so agree with this’
Hellooooo, we knew you are on with the subject when we see you digg it. putting up comment just for the sake of comment is so lame.

9. You digg every post of your blog
Face it, even if you beg it, the traffics won’t flood into every blogposts of yours. so stop begging.

10. This article put a smile in your face but you don’t digg it
Yeah, you sucks if you enjoyed my writing here but you don’t digg on my article. this’s simply not right isn’t? now go digg this. :)

Act like a jerk, if that’s what it takes

I saw this Google Ads when i was taking my daily dose of blog reading.

Malaysians are losers!
(It probably reads ‘Americans’ if you’re surfing in the States, geo targeting.)

“What the hell?” i heard you mumbling - yeah, it sounds like a jerk. but sure enough, the ad will be pulling in more clicks that other average written ads. if the result of the ads is measured solely on the CTR, i bet this one should run out pretty well.

“Small is the new BIG”, Seth Godin

No one whacked my mind as hard as Seth Godin besides Anthony Robbins.

Seth stands as one of the best selling author and most influential business thinker in the world. heard of the book titled Purple Cow? that’s his book. heard of squidoo? he’s the original squid who started the website. it’s okay if you dont know all these… i didn’t knew him that much until i came accross his blog and his book “Small is the new big”.

Small is the new big

I’ve been reading this book for free at Borders. the book is so interesting that eventually i got hooked up and digged my wallet to buy it. i can actually complete the book at Borders for free but i rather to own it so i can read and read again when i am stucked, when i faced bottle neck, when i need new ideas…

So yes, actually this post is about Seth Godin’s book - ‘Small is the new big’.

What’s in the book
184 articles, compiled from his blog writing thru out the past 8 years. as the beginning of the book said, this book is not about narrative research, instead, it’s an interesting business book that share Seth’s business thoughts and rants around the dotcom.

My favorite part
One the articles that i enjoyed the most is his takes on the ‘local max’ issue, you can read about it at here: Understanding the local max. some others that give new breaths are:

  • “Maybe,” Getting people not to say
  • Small is the new big
  • Safe is risky

So, go read this book, if…

  • You want the same whack that i got from his writing.
  • You wish to know the next major wave in web marketing.
  • You are brainstorming new remarkable business idea.

Go buy the book!

Where else? get the book at Amazon as low as $12.11!
$12.11 for used book, $25.95 $16.35 for new book - not too much for a book that can changes your mindset entirely about how Internet biz works. go get it, i bet you’ll enjoy the book as i did. ;)
Small player - soufulow - wishes you ‘Happy Reading’!
