I have, virtually, NO internet connection at all with streamyx.

I need about 25 - 30 seconds to load Yahoo homepage these two days. i’m lucky if i can see the PayPal logo on PayPal homepage, PaidPerPost, digg, technorati, answer, wikipedia, and majority of the websites take forever to load.

Fuck Speedometer

Let’s see how TM Net Speedometer has to says?

Wuahhhh~ Speedometer tells me that i am running on full 1Mbps speed! look at the graph, i got 1026.07 831.2kbps for download and 386.0kbps upload speed!

Wait wait wait…. wait… if this is true, Yahoo homepage (which size less than 50k) should be loaded in less than a second, right? but how come that’s not the case on my PC? i can finish my whole cup of Yogurt and yet, Yahoo homepage is still not yet loaded on my screen!

Yeah right, 1026.07kbps my arse! to all streamyx users, dont let streamyx technician got their ass wiped clean on your Internet service problems! speedometer is a tool streamyx use to get rid of ppl who have slow connection.

Let me tell you why the speedometer says its 1026.07kbps while i can finish the whole cup of yogurt while waiting Yahoo homepage to load! all the speedometer test server are hosted in malaysia, which means, the speed is only accurate for local hosted website! soufulow dot come is hosted in malaysia, so loading speed should be lighting fast.

Try work out with any other speed tester online, try test your speed with server outside of malaysia, you’ll see how terrible streamyx service is! (remember i get 46kbps on my previous post at here?) 46kbps vs 1026.07kbps - that’s how much different for local and foreign website.

What does it means?
It means streamyx is an intranet service instead of Internet service. it means if you buy a car that can goes 110km/h in Perak, you can only drive around in that speed in perak - if you get out of perak, your car will slow down and can only let you to go in 4.5% of your speed, which is 4.95km/h!

If there’s an liar award in Malaysia, i’m very sure streamyx’s advertisement that claims they give 1Mbps internet speed is the biggest liar in Malaysia (along with speedometer that comes second)!

I am fucking angry right now with streamyx and dont tell me to calm down… i cant work, i cant login to my web accounts, i cant do FTP in the normal speed, i cant preview my changes in my webdesigns, and i cant do shit online right now unless i limit myself to work in local hosted website only. so how am i going to feed my dog and pay my taxes?
