Signspotting@Australia

A new activity i tired this time when travelled to Australia is sign spotting.

When i mentioned sign spotting, i mean taking photos for those sign boards on the road. obviously, doing such on the street made me look like an idiot. nonetheless, it’s actually interesting looking at these signboards and notice how much different it can be. more over, people who travels alone (on biz trip for example) know how hard it can be to kill time when you’re alone in stranger’s land - some sign spotting along the street definitely brings joy for your journey!

So here you go, some signboards photo i snapped while travelling around Australia.

By the way, the original idea of sign spotting by www.SignSpotting.com should be taking photo for irony or funny sign board - too bad i didn’t manage to find a good one. :(

Singapore, I’m coming!

Singapore

Oh la la~ I’ll be in Johor Baru for my bro’s convo and Singapore (since it’s so near mah…) for the coming weekend. my personal travel experience with singapore had been awfully terrible - it was extremely rush for the first time (reached evening 7pm and have to fly back the other morning at 10am); and the second time was even worse - i forgot to bring my passport!

So hey, wish me luck - i hope i can at least walk around the Orchard Road this time. (and please, robbers in JB, i’ll be just stopping by for a short while, please dont rape me…)

Langkawi trip: Stupids in action

But when you’re travelling around (and sleeping in the same room) at Langkawi with another two sohais (Daigou and Sun), it’s definitely nothing about romantic!

Instead, you’ll get lots of ‘interesting’ photo…

Langkawi travel tips

My personal travel tips for Langkawi island…

  • A lot of the car rental merchants around the jetty are sneaky bastards… be sure you bargain on the price (Proton car std price cost about rm50; vios, sentra, or city cost about rm60-rm70) and check the car before paying them money.
  • Black Sand Beach used to be a ‘must-see’ tourism spot for Langkawi… used-to-be = means not now anymore! forget about it, all you can get now is a heavily polluted beach that you dont even feels like step on it. plus, who wants a cement factory in a seaside view?
  • If you want clean beach and crystal clear sea water for swimming - the little-known Pasir Tenggorak is highly recommended. there’s not much other water sports available there though.
  • Like Raggae music? remember to visit the local raggae cafe at pantai cenang…cool band performing everynight after 11pm
  • Gourmet’s food? get it at Pantai Kok! you’ll get good Italians, Russians, Spanishs, Japaneses food over there…
  • In case you’re leaving Langkawi with tax free alcohol be sure that you KEEP your arrival boat/flight ticket to prove that you stay Langkawi more than two days to avoid gov taxation.

Ciao!
That’s all! ciao~ ;)
